 Accreditation for these masterclasses

The mentor coaching masterclasses are accredited by the International Coach Federation as part of the Forton Group's 'Accredited Coach Training Program' (ACTP), this means that everything we have submitted and had approved by the ICF is accredited.  Certificates are a great way of acknowledging the hard work you put into these masterclasses.

The ICF definition of Mentor Coaching:

"Mentor coaching means an applicant being coached on their coaching skills rather than coaching on practice building, life balance, or other topics unrelated to the development of an applicant’s coaching skill."

Requirement: "portfolio applicants must be coached for a minimum of 10 hours over a minimum of 3 months by a qualified mentor coach. Applications may have more than one qualified mentor coach. See below for mentor coach qualifications.
Qualifications for Mentor Coach: "You are required to have been mentor coached by a coach who holds an ACC, PCC, or MCC Credential."
Individual and Group Coaching:  "A minimum of 3 of the 10 mentoring hours must be one-on-one coaching with the mentor. Group coaching may count for a maximum of 7 hours toward the mentoring requirement. The group being mentored may not consist of more than 10 participants."

The LeadershipZone

The LeadershipZone is a growing resource area which you can freely access as a masterclass member.  It will require you to sign up separately (at no charge) - this is to ensure site security, as well as enabling us to create a LeadershipZone community.

Professional coaches and  other business owners are all leaders and our experience is that leadership development is a complex area. Leaders are under pressure to deliver more for less, get the best from their teams and achieve at full potential.  Business has never more challenging than in today's environment.

Leadership is context specific: it's about you as an individual and its about the 'team' - whether your team members are direct employees or contractors or suppliers.  Leadership is driven by the business needs of your organisation. Because leadership is about all these dimensions, it's a fascinating subject.

Leadership Library

Our leadership library is another complimentary resource, which you can access by signing up for the leadershipzone.  Here you'll find books recommended by leadership coaches, clips of interviews from our leadership book club, and guest reviews
